"For a french visitor, as me, the Murray is full of charm and remind us what the Far West was ! For people who are seeking the mos modern amenities and comfort, it could be desappointing, because of his old appareance and lack of modernism (no breakfast, no pool, no garden, no sauna etc..). But it's a good adress and inexpensive in relation with what it offers."

The Murray Hotel is Livingston's only downtown hotel. Opened in 1905, the hotel offers gracious accommodations with a western charm. The rooftop hot tub presents itself with a view of 3 mountain ranges. The hotel has a traditional lobby, a workout room, an art gallery and award winning restaurant. The hotel is 5 blocks from Yellowstone River with spectacular fly fishing. The movies, 'A River Runs Through It' and 'The Horse Whisperer', were filmed in town.
